ABOUT KALASALINGAM UNIVERSITY

Kalasalingam is a deemed university located in Krishnankovil. Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE), formerly Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering, was established in 1984 by Kalvivallal Thiru T. Kalasalingam, Founder Chairman who was a freedom fighter and Philanthropist. Kalasalingam is located at the pristine foothills of the scenic Western Ghats of southern Tamilnadu. The college obtained Deemed to be University status in 2006.

Kalasalingam University is well known for its B.Tech, M.Sc. Data science courses. It is consistently ranked among the top engineering institutes of India by various ranking bodies. We have a flexible curriculum that integrates online courses, societal projects, industry exposure and international exposure.

Kalasalingam University offers UG programmes, PG programmes and PhD programmes in various disciplines of Engineering, Science, Technology and Humanities. Kalasalingam is the only Institution in India to simultaneously get accredited by ABET(an International non-profit and non-governmental agency, USA) for 11 programmes. The Institution has been re-accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade with a CGPA of 3.11. The NBA has accredited six UG programmes under the Tier-1 category of the Washington accord.
