B.Sc. FORESTRY

The BSc in Forestry develops graduates who appreciate the need to manage forested areas with due concern for all resources and who have the capability and knowledge to manage forested areas as integrated ecological entities. It focuses primarily on forest management, the protection, manipulation, and use of the forest resource while ensuring that sustainability and other social and cultural needs are met.

B.Sc. in Forestry. B.Sc. Forestry degrees can be pursued by candidates with science backgrounds. Students must have passed their 10+2 from a recognized board or meet the following requirements to be eligible for the B.Sc. Forestry programme.

In order to acquire concepts and enhance their academic experiences, those interested in pursuing a B.Sc. in Forestry must possess a number of skill sets. These abilities are also necessary for advancing in your profession and performing well in potential jobs.

The program prepares students for careers as Registered Professional Foresters working in government or industrial organizations or as consultants. To complete the registration process, graduates apply directly to the appropriate Registered Professional Foresters Association.

B.Sc. Forestry graduates will find plenty of work prospects in the Indian Government’s Forest Department. Many of the central government examinations are open to the public. They may be required as part of the hiring process in several sectors of the central government.
