B.Sc. Biotechnology

B.Sc in Biotechnology is a branch of applied biology that employs living organisms and bioprocesses in engineering, technology, medicine, and other fields that require by-products. B.Sc Biotechnology subjects include human biology, cell biology, biological systems, chemistry, and structural biochemistry.

Geography is the study of the way the world works. You can explore our ever-changing world from volcanoes, flooding, and climate change through to human issues such as sustainability, health, and social justice.
Understanding geography is becoming increasingly important, as our planet and humanity face some of the biggest challenges we have ever known.

Biotechnology is a field that will never stop evolving. As a result, there is a growing demand for B.Sc Biotechnology graduates, and job scope abounds across the country. One can easily find the desired position in various sectors/industries such as drug and pharmaceutical research, waste management, chemicals, energy, food processing, bio-processing industries, animal husbandry, environmental conservation, genetic engineering, etc.

BSc Biotechnology course is for three years and often referred to as B.Sc biotech. Biotechnology, to put it simply, is the study of altering or improving living organisms for human use. This branch of science’s primary goal is to create valuable goods to improve living organisms to increase their value. Aspirants of this course must have critical skills like logical and independent minds, meticulous attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills. Aspirants have scope in the field of drug and pharmaceutical research, environment control. Some major BSc biotechnology subjects are biophysical chemistry, cell biology, genetics, microbiology and macromolecules, animal and plant physiology.
Biotechnology has an excellent job scope in the present and future. Agriculture, bioremediation, food manufacturing, and energy production are all fields where biotechnology is being used. Plants immune to insects, weeds, and plant diseases are created using genetic engineering in agriculture.

Candidates interested in biological sciences, have solid problem-solving skills, and are computer savvy should strongly consider this curriculum. Biotechnology graduates are in demand for a variety of high-paying positions all over the world. The field is constantly changing, and graduates will work as research scientists, biotech analysts, or specialists in their fields after completing the program.
