Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics is an undergraduate Commerce course. Business economics is a course in applied economics and alongside the academic training to sharpen essential skills in marketing and communication, the students undergo corporate summer training for about eight weeks, to get a better understanding of the business environment and real organizational problems. The duration of the course is three years and its syllabus is divided into six semesters. The degree course is an important and career-orienting one that opens many scopes for them.
A degree in business economics provides a solid foundation for many different professions and jobs. Most of the time, those with a bachelor’s degree in business economics work in either education, business, or government. Those who hold one of these degrees may be able to secure a position as a financial planner, investment analyst, security salesperson, or as an insurance underwriter.
